About Us

Square Deal Riders is one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in the United States. Formed in 1937 as a family oriented club dedicated to the betterment of all forms of motorcycling, SDR is active in the community, supporting many functions for local schools, the Toys for Tots program, and its continued support over the years enabled the Colesville (NY) Fire Department to buy a new ambulance. Square Deal also hosts the longest-running AMA sanctioned off-road motorcycle series in the country -- the SDR Mud and Snow Scrambles, an eight-race winter series held on select Sundays from November to March.

Square Deal Riders has been promoting flat track motorcycle racing for almost 40 years, both at its own facility and at the Afton Fairgrounds. Many of today's nationally ranked riders have ridden at one of these facilities. The night before the Syracuse Mile has traditionally been the night to see riders from all over the nation including Jay Springsteen and Steve Morehead.
