Square Deal Riders is one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in the United States, holding many events thoughout each year including Flat Track, Enduros, Hare Scrambles, The SDR Winter Series, Adventure and Road Rides.

Square Deal Riders is a non-profit organization formed in 1937 as a family-oriented club dedicated to the betterment of all forms of motorcycling.

SDR is active in the community, supporting many functions for local schools, the Christmas Angels of Harpursville program, and sponsoring scholarships at our local high school. Its continued support over the years enabled the Colesville (NY) Fire Department to buy a new ambulance.

At the club’s own land, the longest running off-road series in America is hosted each winter – The Mud and Snow Scrambles. This series is a very tight and technical mini harescramble series running through all the elements nature can throw out.

Every year, American Spirit Motorcycle Club hosts the Rites of Spring ride on the date of our Flat Track Season Opener. The ride is a tradition for the club.

We host the last round of the District 4 Enduro Series in September. It is a Sprint Enduro ran on land just over the hill from our club grounds, five minutes away. Check our Special Events page for more information!

Square Deal Riders has been promoting flat track motorcycle racing for over 50 years, both at its own facility and formerly at the Afton Fairgrounds. Many of today’s nationally ranked riders have ridden at one of these facilities. AMA’s own Grand National Champ, Kenny Coolbeth honed his skills as an amateur at our ultra-fast 1/4 mile cushion track. Many riders racing in the National Series race regularly at Square Deal. Our youth classes are very strong as we support our up and coming future champions.

Square Deal Riders has also received many recognition awards from the American Motorcyclist Association over the years, including the 2009 and 2019 AMA Club of the Year!
